GOLGOTHA

I was reading a fully-painted comicbook by killer 2000AD artist Dean Ormston with Alan Grant when I realised I'd never done anything like that in my career.

I had been preparing a series of paintings entitled ' Golgotha Cells ' but with a little application, this became the germ of Golgotha, my first full-realised series.

I painted the first issue of 24 pages but I found publication enormously expensive. Wishing the series to be an experiment, I went back to black and white for Book Two. Book Three is also black and white with Book Four going into pure pencils (again a colour issue).

What Happens When I Die

Sometimes in life, there are things that can't be explained. Then there are things we hope to be true. Sometimes the two are the same thing (in a roundabout sort of way).
